This place was amazing! 10/10 cannot recommend it enough. It’s such a peaceful spot, the privacy is great, the bed is insanely comfortable, I could go on and on. The uniqueness of the building was also super cool. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area.
If you are in need of tranquility & a stay that that actually is better than the photos suggest… then this is it. I’d describe it as what you might expect homes on mars or other planets might feel like. Best bath of your life. The property was the perfect reset needed before back to reality after a long week of red rock amphitheater & exploring Aspen.
Fantastic space! It was beautiful and peaceful and you could see the stars so clearly. Our first night we could hear elk bellowing in the woods - spooky but super cool.
Absolutely perfect! Will definitely come back and stay here again!!
I have stayed in a lot of hotels, inns, and Airbnbs across the world and this was my favorite of them all. The peace & serenity of Nederland and this retreat space was so good for my soul! The tub was absolutely transformative! The architecture and care in building. Chef's kiss. A perfect retreat!!
Very beautiful and comfortable place. We were planning on spending more time in Ned but ended up enjoying our time at Hutch's place so much we stayed in and relaxed most of the weekend. That being said very close to the town and tons of trailheads.
Hutch was a great host with clear and quick communication. He shared what we need to know in advance. His place was beautiful and unique and was not like any place we stayed before. The bathroom with the very comfortable and relaxing tub was wonderful. The door was a bit tricky to open but once we figured it out, it was fine. His kitchen is the best kitchen we’ve seen anywhere! It felt like it was really a nicely planned kitchen with everything you’d need (tools, oils, spices, etc).
This stay was one of the most memorable we have had on this platform thus far! We stayed one night on a whim need for a getaway from the city. This place? The ultimate restoration. We spent the whole time at the home and took full advantage of a relaxing soaking bath and reading our books curled up by the fireplace. The home had everything we needed to cook and relax. Hutch gives fantastic notes and the guidebook inside the home is a real gem. We will be back for a much longer stay in the future!
We had the best stay at Hutch’s place. The natural architecture is gorgeous and makes it feel like a true mountain retreat. Hutch was super responsive, really nice, and gave us great recs for food and nearby trails. It snowed while we were there, which made the whole experience even better. Sitting in the soaking tub watching the snow fall was unreal. His place was private, peaceful and cozy. Would definitely come back!
We enjoyed our time so much, it had everything we needed. It was gorgeous, clean, cozy, and so peaceful.
Really lovely spot. Definitely felt more private inside than originally expected from the driveway. Very thoughtful privacy fences that were artfully designed to preserve both privacy from the home and the gorgeous view. Thought the bed and couches were VERY comfy, which is massively appreciated. I had trouble with the door coming in and leaving, but nothing a bit of persistence couldn’t fix. Really lovely spot, very cozy, I’m so happy with the stay.
My wife and I love this place. Great construction finishes. Something unique in Colorado’s architecture.
It’s was an amazing weekend get away, I enjoyed it very much!!
This Airbnb is GORGEOUS!! The design is so unique and interesting! The enormous stone bathtub is EXQUISITE!! The bed and linens were soooooo comfortable! This ranked as one of our top 5 favorite Airbnb’s ever! Definitely reserving again this summer so we can hike some of Nederland’s stunning trails!
The home is so beautifully designed and unique. We decided to stay here given the proximity to The Caribou Room (we went to a concert, 5 minute walk across the peak to peak) and curiosity about the rammed earth construction. It did not disappoint! It was so quiet and peaceful staying there, the design of the home is very minimalist and thoughtful. The bathroom is extraordinary, the 2 person tub being really special. The snow isn’t great this year so we skipped skiing and went for a couple hikes and hung out in Ned (5 minute drive down the hill). Highly recommended!
Our stay was absolutely incredible. Hutch was a fantastic host, communication was seamless, and the check-in/check-out instructions were crystal clear. The house is thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need for a stress-free stay. The location is perfect, and we truly loved the clean, relaxing atmosphere. We would highly recommend this home to anyone and hope to be back very soon!
We had a lovely time here for Valentine’s Day! Only issue we had was the door lock was a little confusing but Hutch was very responsive and we were able to get in quickly. The space was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. There was also plenty of bottles of water for us which was very nice and appreciated. I would highly recommend staying here for a romantic getaway.
We very much enjoyed this unique mountain home. A beautiful space, with everything top-of-the-line. Not your typical Airbnb at all. Super pleasant 1 mile walk to town.
Hutch has a beautiful home with a well thought-out layout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cozy and comfortable place. This stay offered luxury and privacy. We did have a few issues with the main door locking, but that did not take away from our visit. We would love to stay here again in the future!
What a beautiful modern cabin for such a great price! We wanted to get away from the city without driving too far, and Hutch’s place was exactly what we needed. It’s extremely clean, stocked with the cleanest toiletries, and the kitchen had clean, high-quality organic essentials. The Tempur-Pedic bed was incredibly comfortable — it even adjusts to your preferred position and has a massage feature! Also, the bathtub/shower setup is so unique and fancy. The backyard has a great view and a perfect little hill that our son loved sledding down on our last morning there after some snowfall at night. We had such a wonderful weekend here. Highly recommend!
Hutch’s home is the perfect getaway, it felt private and peaceful. Hutch provides everything you could need for your stay and has great customer service. Would stay again and recommend.
Super cool and very modern spot, extremely well built and the earthen walls give this home a beautiful and warm aesthetic. Great location and feels secluded, though a short drive to town. The bathtub is incredible and we used it several times on our stay. Very well appointed kitchen too. Great spot.
Staying here felt like being at a cool, well-traveled uncle’s impeccable minimalist cabin… except it has all the modern amenities you could wish for (and more)! It was incredibly cozy and the layout of the space is really thoughtful. Definitely room for two to cook in the kitchen with just enough of the right tools to get some nice meals in (pavlova anyone?). The shower was gorgeous and the view from it were actually quite private, but if you still aren’t sure there are lovely curtains that can be adjusted easily for more privacy (we did a walk around the outside to check). The tub is huge once you see it in-person which means no real splashing or spills when showering. We try to travel for NYE to escape the fireworks and even though there is a road nearby we barely heard any noise from it and more importantly didn’t hear any bangs or booms. It was the perfect place to ring in the new year with my husband and our slightly anxious dog (he loved the little park in town too). 10/10!
This was an excellent place to stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy getaway. Literally everything was thought of and considered, every possible toiletry and supply you could ask for. Appliances were top top, and the bathroom and tub was superb. Hutch is such a professional host, and responds super quickly. Worth every penny!
Hutch's place was super clean, cozy and easy to check into! It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, would 100% recommend.
We loved Hutch’s place for a night to recoup on our road trip. The bed is so comfy and the soaking tub is awesome. The place was spotless and it felt like our own luxurious mountain hideaway.
This was the perfect getaway place for my husband and I. Very peaceful and quiet. The house has everything you need to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and local hikes. Can’t wait to visit again! Magical place.
We loved our stay! The space was very relaxing, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a peaceful getaway. Hutch was incredibly responsive and easy to work with, which made the experience even better. We’ve already added this property to our list of favorites and would happily stay again in the future.
